📡 The Mission

More Than a Space Program

Marstronaut in Training™ is a career pre-apprenticeship disguised as a space adventure. You'll master STEM, health science, and the wisdom to keep a crew — and a planet — alive. On Mars. And here at home.

🔭 Learn It

Know Your Science

Aerospace physics, human biology, planetary ecology, math, chemistry, and communication — every concept you need to survive on Mars and thrive on Earth. Aligned to NGSS, NHES, ISTE, and middle school math standards.

Live It

Apply It. Feel the Stakes.

Simulated missions with real consequences. Engineering challenges. Crew health decisions. Life support calculations. Every lesson becomes a mission tool — because a sick or unprepared Marstronaut is a liability to the entire crew.

🗺️ Your Journey

5 Phases. One Mission.

From your first day in Ground School to surviving and thriving on Mars — this is the path every Marstronaut walks.

HEALTH
🌐 Philosophy

One Health.
Two Planets.

The Marstronaut program is built on a fundamental truth: you cannot separate the health of a person from the health of their ecosystem from the health of their planet. This is One Health — and it applies just as much to Mars as it does to Earth.

🧑‍🚀
A healthy Marstronaut = a mission asset
Physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, and interpersonal skills are not extras — they are mission-critical. A sick or isolated crew member on a 9-month transit is everyone's problem. The same is true in any career or community.
🌱
Ecosystem stewardship = crew survival
Every plant, microbe, water molecule, and nitrogen cycle in the habitat must be understood and respected. Flora, fauna, and the atmosphere are not resources — they are partners. On Earth, forests, oceans, and soil work the same way.
🌍
Cultural intelligence = mission cohesion
Mars crews will be global. Respecting Earth's rich cultural diversity, history, and traditions is not only right — it produces the greatest science and the most resilient teams. Inclusion is not policy. It is mission design.
🚫
Mars is not a conquest
Humanity's mission to Mars is one of stewardship, inquiry, and the betterment of all life — not extraction, monopoly, or displacement. Marstronauts are trained as citizens and scientists, not colonizers.
♻️ Dual Use

Every Mars Problem Is an Earth Problem

The challenges of surviving on Mars mirror the challenges we face right here at home. Master one — understand both. That's the power of this program.

🔴 On MarsCO₂ removal from sealed habitat air
🌍 On EarthForest & ocean carbon cycling
💨
Atmospheric Chemistry
Oxygen and carbon balance sustain life in a closed habitat — and on an entire planet. The science is the same.
🔴 On Mars100% water recycling system
🌍 On EarthClean water access for 2 billion
💧
Water Cycles
On Mars, every drop is survival. On Earth, billions lack clean water. Same science. Same urgency. Different scale.
🔴 On MarsCrew mental health in isolation
🌍 On EarthCommunity mental health & belonging
🧠
Mental Health
A crew member in psychological distress endangers everyone. So does an unsupported student or community member.
🔴 On MarsHydroponic food production
🌍 On EarthFood security & urban farming
🥬
Food Systems
Growing food in a hostile Martian environment mirrors the challenge of feeding communities in food deserts on Earth.
🔴 On MarsNitrogen cycle in sealed biome
🌍 On EarthSoil health & agricultural nitrogen
🌿
Nitrogen & Soil
Nitrogen fixation keeps plant life alive — in a Martian greenhouse and in Earth's farmland and forest ecosystems.
🔴 On MarsMulti-cultural crew cohesion
🌍 On EarthDiverse team leadership & community
🤝
Cultural Intelligence
Earth's history, languages, and traditions make a crew stronger. The same is true in every workplace and community.
